Australian Wildlife
A journey through Australia’s bioregions and their wildlife.
Australia’s landscapes are incredibly diverse, and so is its birdlife. Shaped by long isolation and a wide range of climates, the continent hosts species and ecological communities found nowhere else on the planet. I’ve organised this collection by habitat, following the environments I encountered in the field — from dense tropical rainforests to open deserts — each playing a distinct role in shaping the birds that live there.
