Hello, I'm Paul Weber

A German marine biology student by trade, but a wildlife enthusiast by passion. For nearly a decade now, the call of the ocean has been irresistible — first as a scuba diver, then as an underwater photographer. After spending several years in Australia, where the wildlife on land and in the water blew my mind (and my camera’s memory card), I found myself equally captivated by both worlds. Now, I’m a bit of a hybrid — torn between the quiet depth of the ocean and the vibrant energy of the wild outdoors. I still can't decide which I love more, so I’ll just keep capturing both! When I’m not diving or chasing creatures on land, you’ll find me out in nature, camera in hand, trying to make sense of this stunning planet we share — one photo at a time. Whether it's beneath the waves or on solid ground, every moment is an adventure, and I can't wait to share them with you!

Terrestrial Photography

My journey in "on-land" photography only really started in April 2024, but so far I have already spent innumerable hours chasing through jungles, swamps and dry outback country to get a glimpse of the stunning wildlife this planet has on offer. As my main focus lies on bird photography, I was already lucky enough to witness some amazing wildlife spectacles and behaviours, but nonetheless the fascination with wildlife photography also extends to our planets mammals, reptiles and amphibians.

The realm of the underwater photography was my first big passion after I got confident enough to wield a camera and have a balanced buoyancy at the same time. Building up the underwater camera equipment bit by bit, paid by the year long savings from tips of my hospitality job, quickly developed into an addicting hoo
